Terms and Conditions
Effective date: August 25, 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of 215carkeys.com and services provided by 215 Car Keys, powered by All City Locksmith Service, Inc. By using this website, requesting an estimate, scheduling same-day service, or authorizing work, you agree to these terms.
Services
215 Car Keys provides mobile automotive key cutting, car key replacement, remote and key-fob programming, immobilizer-related services, broken-key repair, and select automotive module programming services in Philadelphia and surrounding communities.
Service availability depends on the vehicle, requested work, technician availability, equipment requirements, inventory, service location, weather, traffic, and other operating conditions. We reserve the right to decline work that cannot be performed safely, legally, or properly.
Same-day appointments only
215 Car Keys accepts same-day appointments only. We do not schedule appointments for future dates.
Customers must call on the morning of the day they want service. Calling does not guarantee availability, a specific arrival time, or completion of the requested work. Appointment availability is determined each day based on workload, technician location, inventory, traffic, and service requirements.
We are not a 24-hour emergency service.
Estimates and dynamic pricing
Prices are not fixed solely by information displayed on this website. Service pricing may vary based on:
• Vehicle year, make, model, and trim
• Key, remote, transponder, or module type
• Whether all keys are lost or a working key is available
• Required programming procedures
• Parts availability and inventory cost
• Vehicle condition or previous repairs
• Customer location, travel distance, tolls, parking, and access
• Whether service is performed at the vehicle or at an approved meet-up location
• Additional diagnostics or work authorized by the customer
Customers should provide accurate vehicle and service information when calling. An estimate based on incomplete or inaccurate information may be revised before work begins. Any material change will be explained before additional work is performed.
Meet-up service rates
A lower same-day meet-up rate may be available when a customer brings the vehicle to a location designated by our mobile technician.
One & Olney Square and any other designated meet-up point are public meeting locations only. They are not 215 Car Keys offices, storefronts, workshops, or walk-in locations. Customers must call first and receive confirmation before traveling to a meet-up location.
Payment terms
Accepted payment methods for retail customers are:
• Cash
• Venmo
• Zelle
We do not directly process debit cards or credit cards. We do not accept personal checks or other consumer payment applications.
Approved automotive repair facilities, used-car dealers, and established commercial customers may be permitted to pay by business check with prior approval.
Customers choosing Venmo will be informed of any applicable payment-processing charge and the total amount due before submitting payment. Payment is due immediately upon completion of the authorized service unless separate written business-payment terms have been approved.
Vehicle ownership and authorization
Customers must have legal authority to request keys, remotes, programming, access, or module services for the vehicle.
We may require a valid government-issued photo ID, vehicle registration, title, repair order, dealer documentation, or other proof of ownership or authorization before beginning work. The information must reasonably match the vehicle or establish the customer’s authority to approve the service.
We may refuse or stop service when ownership or authorization cannot be verified.
Customer-supplied keys and remotes
Customers may request programming for keys, remotes, or electronic components purchased online or supplied by another seller. Customer-supplied parts are accepted at our discretion.
The customer is responsible for confirming that a supplied part has the correct part number, FCC ID, frequency, transponder type, electronics, blade, and vehicle compatibility. We do not guarantee that a customer-supplied product is genuine, functional, unlocked, reusable, or compatible.
Programming or diagnostic charges may still apply when a customer-supplied part is defective, previously locked to another vehicle, incorrectly identified, or incompatible, provided those charges were disclosed before work began.
We do not provide a parts warranty for items supplied by the customer.
Automotive programming and vehicle condition
The customer or repair facility is responsible for ensuring that an appropriate battery maintainer or regulated power supply is connected during PCM, ECU, BCM, and other module-programming procedures when required. 215 Car Keys and All City Locksmith Service, Inc. are not responsible for programming failures, corrupted modules, interrupted procedures, or vehicle damage caused by inadequate or unstable battery voltage.
GM VATS Bypass Authorization and Security Disclosure
GM VATS bypass service is available only for select resistor-key vehicles. The customer must provide acceptable proof of ownership or legal authority over the vehicle and authorize the service before any work begins.
A GM VATS bypass is a starting-system workaround for a failure involving the factory resistor-key verification system. It is not a complete restoration of the ignition lock cylinder, VATS wiring, theft-deterrent module, or every original factory component.
The original VATS key may remain in use after service. However, the vehicle will no longer rely on the key’s original resistor value for the same factory verification. The factory resistor-key verification will no longer provide the same theft-deterrent protection after the bypass is completed.
By authorizing service, the customer confirms that they understand and accept this reduction in the vehicle’s original theft-deterrent operation. 215 Car Keys does not represent a GM VATS bypass as a full factory security restoration or guarantee against vehicle theft.
Used, salvaged, remanufactured, customer-supplied, or junkyard modules are serviced at the customer’s risk. We do not guarantee their condition, internal data, compatibility, previous programming status, service life, or operation after installation or programming. Programming labor and diagnostic charges may remain due even when a supplied module is defective, incompatible, locked, or otherwise unusable, provided those charges were disclosed before work began.
Automotive key and module programming requires a vehicle with a properly functioning electrical system, adequate battery voltage, compatible components, and responsive control modules.
Preexisting electrical problems, damaged wiring, low battery voltage, aftermarket equipment, prior programming, incorrect replacement modules, communication faults, or damaged vehicle systems may prevent successful completion.
The customer authorizes the procedures reasonably required to perform the approved service. Certain programming procedures may erase previously stored keys, remotes, or module information. We will explain known material effects when applicable.
Custom-cut and programmed products
Vehicle keys, remote-head keys, transponder keys, and programmed electronic products are customized for a particular vehicle. Once successfully cut or programmed, they generally cannot be returned or resold.
Claims involving a product supplied by 215 Car Keys must be reported promptly. Any warranty coverage will be limited to the terms communicated for that product or service. Damage caused by misuse, impact, water, unauthorized modification, depleted replaceable batteries, vehicle faults, or normal wear is not covered.
